IRM is a modified mortar with a reinforced composition of zinc oxide and eugenol which is used in temporary restorations whose residence time will not exceed one year.
Resistant to abrasion, with high diametral stability and low solubility.
Indicated in: occlusions of new teeth (2 years or less from the eruption of permanent teeth), occlusion in emergency cases, in anti-cariogenic treatments, in schools and public health centers.
IRM® restorative is a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol composition restorative material designed for
intermediate restorations intended to remain in place for no longer than one year.
IRM® restorative may also be used as a base under restorative materials and cements that do not contain resin
components.
IRM® is available as caps for use with machine mixing.
