Charisma flow is the ideal complement to Charisma's long-lasting hybrid composite microparticle. Thanks due to its low viscosity and thixotropy, Charisma flux is amazingly precise and customizable.
Indications
Class V fillings
Minimally invasive class I and II fillings in areas of low masticatory force
Class III minimally invasive fillings
Sealing cracks and extensive cracks
Minor shape and color corrections in enamel and dentin
Minor repairs of direct and indirect restorations combined with appropriate bonding
Dental splint
Cavity lining
Reinforcement arms
Safe to use, high level of aesthetic appeal
Controlled consistency: the initial consistency is constant and the material becomes controllably fluid during agitation
Easy, fast handling
X-ray opaque
Intense chameleon effect
Natural fluorescence
Wide color spectrum
The colors match the Charisma colors perfectly
Baseliner
Charisma flow baseliner can be applied to the cavity floor to mark the transition to the natural hard tissue of the teeth.
This means that unnecessary perforation of the healthy hard tissue of the teeth when removing an inadequate filling can be is avoided. In addition, dark discoloration can be covered brilliantly with Charisma flow baseliner.
Shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, B2, B3, OA2, OA4, OB2, SB, Baseliner
Type of application:
Prepare the tooth structure for treatment by cleaning it with a fluoride-free polishing paste. Before treatment, while the teeth are still wet, select the Charisma flow shade using the Charisma shade guide.
1. Remove any caries and complete the minimally invasive preparation of the tooth structure according to the general guidelines for adhesive fillings. Then clean and dry the cavity. The use of an elastic barrier is recommended.
2. A quality adhesive system (eg iBond® Self Etch, GLUMA® Comfort® Bond + Desensitizer, GLUMA® Solid Bond) should be applied to the enamel and dentin according to the manufacturer's instructions prior to insertion the filler material. Avoid contamination of conditioned or adhesive treated surfaces with moisture, blood or saliva.
3. Apply Charisma flow in thin layers (max. 2 mm, Baseliner max. 1 mm) to the cavity. When applying Charisma flow ensure it flows slowly and evenly to prevent air bubbles – apply a gentle stream of air to facilitate maximum boundary contact. If necessary, remove any air bubbles with a probe before curing.
4. Cure each layer according to the table below using a suitable light curing unit (eg Translux® Power Blue®) for 20 or 40 seconds. A dispersion layer is formed during polymerization. This layer should not be touched or removed if other composite layers are to be applied.
