UltraSeal XT plus is a hydrophobic, light-cured, radiopaque, occlusive material that releases fluoride. It is stronger and more resistant to abrasion because it contains 58% reinforcing substances and has less polymerization shrinkage than similar products available on the market. The helical interior of the Inspiral nozzle makes the thixotropic Ultraseal XT plus more fluid during placement. The resin becomes viscous when placed and therefore does not flow until light-cured. The use of PrimaDry with UltraSeal XT plus improves the penetration of UltraSeal XT plus into holes and crevices by eliminating moisture that can lead to debonding of hydrophobic occlusive materials.
