The alloy to mercury ratio varies between 1/0.86 and 1/0.96 depending on the size and setting time, i.e. 46.2% to 49.5% by weight mercury. The compressive strength of Permite at 24 hours is 500 MPa, and the dimensional change during hardening is +0.04%.
